This January, we’re combining the magic of storytelling with community giving as we celebrate Dolly Parton’s 80th birthday and the joy of reading for local children!
🎬 Movie Screening: Coat of Many Colors
Join us for a special screening of Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors on January 19th at 2:00 PM at the Columbia Theater. This heartwarming film is the perfect way to celebrate Dolly’s life, legacy, and love of storytelling.
- Suggested donation: $5 per person or $10 per family
- Reception & birthday party to follow at Riverfront Bookstore
All donations go directly to support early literacy programs for 1,400 local children—helping them develop a lifelong love of reading!
💛 Local Businesses Giving Back
We’re thrilled to partner with local businesses who are helping us spread the love of literacy this month:
- Hometown Pizza: For every 12-inch pizza sold, $1 will go directly to our early literacy program.
- Beyond the Forest: Stop in and enjoy a special Dolly-inspired drink, with a portion of proceeds supporting local kids’ literacy.
- Flowers N Fluff: Enjoy two of Dolly’s favorite treats, and a portion of sales will come back to benefit early learners.
